Join us at the January Kinky Vegas MeetUp

Our next 3rd Saturday MeetUp is at Irene's on Saturday the 21st, 3pm to 5pm

As usual the topics for discussion are pretty much up to the individuals who show up.  I would like to table two things for general discussion:

• Problems, resources, opportunities for the Mature Kinkster here in the Valley
   

  Who, what, and when are Mature Kinksters, and why do we need a discussion area for them.
  My personal observation, based on 20+ years of participation in various Kink Communities all over the country, is that Mature Kinksters (also known as the 50+ crowd) are not well served or regarded by the younger set, and get somewhat of a raw deal.
   
  This MeetUp is an opportunity to discuss this and perhaps come up with some ideas to support those Mature folks who still participate in the Kink Community.
  
   

• GeoFlashing in the Valley
   

  GeoFlashing is for the more adventurous among us, it is similar in that there is a list of locations, and you find your way to them by the Latitude and Longitude, using your GPS device.
   

  There is be a marker of some kind, at the flash site, to confirm you found the right place. However with GeoFlashing the next step is for one or more of the group to "Show off Their Junk" while someone takes a digital snap to prove you were there.
  
  Snaps are uploaded to a website and the GeoFlash community can vote for their favorite in various categories.
  
  A game for those who like to get outside the box from time and to time and enjoy showing a little skin in public from time time time. Economic times are tough these days, GeoFlashing is whole new way to have some fun at low cost. If you do not own a GPS device or a GPS enabled Cell Phone, you can use Google Earth to find directions to the location.

   

After MeetUp Out & About

For the post MeetUp expedition we can think about a trip to the Erotic Heritage Museum, or as an alternative, a group trip to the Déjà Vu  Adult Boutique down on Tropicana, open to other ideas/suggestions.

Help Wanted - Events Coordination/Director of Community Outreach

This is an non-compensated, volunteer, position. Requires modest computer and internet skills, mostly requires a people person who can work with representatives of all the Kink Communities in the Vegas Valley to publish a comprehensive  calendar of events reflecting the diversity of opportunities for all Kinksters here in the Vegas Valley.

Position can be filled by an individual, or a small group.

Job is to research group events of all kink communities in the Las Vegas Valley, determine which should be included in the Kinky Vegas/Vegas Beat calendar of events, periodically update the events database on the Kinky Vegas Website, and, where reasonable, post, or cause to be posted, Kinky Vegas events on calendars maintained by other groups.

If you are interested please drop me a line, it has reached a point where I can maintain the back end of this system, or I can maintain the content, but there are simply not enough hours to do both.
